Mission Statement

The Retired and Senior Volunteer Program of Peoria and Tazewell Counties recruits, supports, and provides volunteer opportunities and experiences for persons over 55 years of age. RSVP offers these services to non profit agencies and organizations throughout the community allowing our volunteers to utilize their own talents and interests in fulfilling the needs of others.

What is RSVP?

RSVP is the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program, providing opportunities for people aged 55 and over to share the knowledge and skills they have acquired over their lifetime. RSVP volunteers build their communities stronger as they serve in a variety of ways.

Currently, 480 volunteers assist over 90 different not-for-profit organizations and agencies in Peoria and Tazewell Counties. These seniors have served 92,000 hours in the last year "Making a Difference", building stronger communities and addressing priority needs.
